Election Update: Postal Disruption

As some residents may be aware, a labour disruption involving Canada Post began on September 25. This timing is particularly challenging, as many voters returned their vote-by-mail kits by the September 24 deadline, and some of those kits may still be within the Canada Post system.

We understand the concern this may cause and want to reassure residents that protecting your democratic right to vote is our top priority. The City is actively developing a contingency plan to address this unexpected situation.
