
A Public Hearing will take place regarding an amendment to rezone land along the front of 746 Blackmarsh Road from the Rural Residential (RR) Zone to the Apartment 1 (A1) Zone for a Cluster Development comprised of three Apartment Buildings and a total of 45 units.
The St. John's Municipal Council adopted St. John’s Municipal Plan Amendment Number 22, 2026, and St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 72, 2026, on April 7, 2026, and hereby gives notice of its intent to seek registration of the amendments from the Minister of Municipal and Community Affairs, in accordance with the Urban and Rural Planning Act.
The effect of the Municipal Plan amendment will re-designate land along the front 746 Blackmarsh Road from the Urban Expansion District to the Residential District.
The effect of the Development Regulations amendment will rezone land along the front of 746 Blackmarsh Road from the Rural Residential (RR) Zone to the Apartment 1 (A1) Zone.
