In 2023, we’re focused on adding more youth voices to our decision-making.
Our Youth Engagement Working Group are making great progress on the Youth Engagement Strategy which includes more opportunities for young people aged 18 to 30 to have their say and get involved in City matters.

Take notice that the St. John’s Municipal Council has enacted the St. John’s Heritage (Amendment No. 1-2023) By-Law.
The said By-Law was passed by Council on the 16th day of January, A.D., 2023, so as to replace the current Schedule “A” – Terms of Reference for the Built Heritage Experts Panel with an updated Schedule “A” and the current Schedule “C” – Heritage Buildings and Maps with an updated Schedule “C” removing 154 New Cove Road (Bryn Mawr) from the schedule.

The H.G.R. Mews Community Centre is closed effective immediately due to a watermain break. An update will be provided once the watermain break is repaired. Please note the swimming pool remains closed due to an infrastructure issue as previously announced.
