Contractors may be working on the following streets from August 29 to September 2 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

Effective immediately, Cadet Road has reopened.
Old Petty Harbour Road and Mooney Crescent will remain closed until Friday, Oct. 7, 2022 to facilitate repairs. Emergency vehicles and local traffic will have access to Mooney Crescent. Please adhere to all traffic control signage.
Syme’s Bridge also remains closed at this time. Update to follow.

The Fridtjof Nansen with 530 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 1 p.m.. on Saturday, Sept. 17 and depart at 6 p.m.
