Effective Monday, October 28
On Monday, October 28, a new traffic signal at King's Bridge Road will operate in yellow flash mode, requiring drivers and other road users to yield to pedestrians crossing the street.
On Tuesday, October 29, the signal will become fully operational, displaying red, yellow, and green lights.

Motorists are advised that Heavy Tree Road will be closed for approximately 2 months to facilitate the construction of the Team Gushue Highway between Brookfield Road and Commonwealth Avenue. Local access and Emergency vehicle access for Heavy Tree Road will be off Commonwealth Avenue.

The City has received an application from KMK Capital Inc. to rezone land at 34 New Cove Road from the Institutional (INST) Zone to the Apartment 3 (A3) Zone for a ten-storey Apartment Building, with a total of one hundred and seven (107) units. Apartment Building is a Permitted Use in the A3 Zone. A Municipal Plan Amendment is also required to redesignate the property from the Institutional District to the Residential District.
