Please be advised that the Paul Reynolds Community Centre and the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre will open today (February 10) at 3 p.m. All other community centres will open for evening programs and rentals as scheduled.

Road Closure - Hebron Way: February 10, 2025

Please be advised that Hebron Way, from Sea Rose Ave to Major’s Path, is closed due to heavy drifting and poor visibility. This closure will remain in place until the weather subsides and crews can clear the area. 

The City of St. John’s apologizes for any inconvenience.

An update will be provided at 11:30 a.m. The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will remain open, however public drop off will be closed as per its regular hours of operation.

City Prepares for Snow Storm Forecasted to Begin February 9, 2025

City crews are preparing for a winter storm which is scheduled to begin overnight Sunday night into Monday.  

The City has introduced a new Weather Hub to centralize all weather-related information in one place.

A Discretionary Use application has been submitted for 10 Crambrae Street.

Description

The proposed application is a Home Occupation for a bakery. The floor area will be approximately 8.4m² and operate Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m –  4 p.m. Orders will be placed online and delivered to customers by the business operator or a delivery service. There will be no on-site sales. Off-street parking is available.
