A portion of Southbrook Trail at Bowring Park will be closed on Friday, July 21 for the remainder of the day from the tennis courts to the Pitts Memorial entrance due to construction. The trail is expected to be reopen on Saturday, July 22.

The City of St. John’s has finalized an evaluation of the pilot planning page at EngageStJohns.ca. Evaluation included a review of site analytics and promotions of the new page; a public survey conducted in May, 2023; a survey of Council; and internal meetings to discuss the page. Generally, response to the page has been positive.

System maintenance is scheduled for the City's mobile app '311 St. John's' overnight tonight, Wednesday, July 19 from 9:30 p.m. to 12:31 a.m. Thursday morning.
The app will not be in service during this time.

DescriptionThe proposed application is for a restaurant (take-out). Hours of operation will be Tuesday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The floor area of the business will remain at approximately 121m2. On-site parking is provided.

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted high temperatures and humidex, the annual Party in the Park will be cancelled for 2023.
