Watermain rehabilitation work that began in summer 2022 in the Churchill Square area is scheduled to resume on April 24, and will be completed by August 2023.
This project involves cleaning and structural lining of the existing watermains. It will reduce maintenance issues, improve water service, and extend the life of existing watermains.

Due to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, April 7 all City offices and facilities will be closed.
Garbage and recycling collection will not occur on Friday, it will be collected on Saturday, April 8.
All City parking by-laws are still in effect, however paid parking will not be enforced as Friday is a Shops Closing Holiday.

Residents are reminded that garbage put out at the curb for collection must be completely covered from April 1 through November 30. Acceptable covers include metal or plastic containers with a lid or a net.
Garbage is not permitted at the curb before 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. This measure is in place to reduce the amount of litter on streets, parks and open spaces.
