Please be advised that the City of St. John’s fireworks planned for 10 p.m. on July 1 are cancelled due to current Provincial fire index rating for our Region. The use of personal/backyard fireworks is also strictly prohibited.
The concert featuring Celtic Connection at the bandstand at Quidi Vidi Lake will still go ahead at 8 p.m., weather permitting. Residents can subscribe to receive updates by email related to cancellations at StJohns.ca/Subscribe or check the City’s Facebook page.

The City of St. John's has forwarded all residential tax bills covering July to December 2025 to Canada Post for delivery. Residents should receive their bill within the coming weeks.
