Bannerman Park is a hub for various recreational activities in the heart of the City. The park contains an accessible playground with swings, slides, climbing and multi-play structures, spring toys and more on a rubberized play surface. The grounds are also home to various monuments, a softball ballfield, as well as walking trails and green space. There is also an accessible splash pad and outdoor pool in the summer, and a skating loop in the winter.
