It was designed and created for the City of St. John's, Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland) in 2018, in collaboration with Eastern Edge Art Gallery for Identify: A Celebration of Indigenous Arts & Culture. It features bright, bold colours and patterns, and reflects Mi’kmaq and Beothuk visual culture.
The City of St. John’s recognizes June 21, 2022, as National Indigenous Peoples Day. It is an opportunity to learn about the diverse cultures, voices, experiences and histories of Indigenous People.
