The City received an application proposing a subdivision of land and development of a Single Detached Dwelling at 109 Doyle’s Road. The applicant is requesting a Variance on Lot Frontage for a new Lot to develop a Single Detached Dwelling.

Description

In general terms, Section 7.4 of the St. John’s Development Regulations can allow Council to grant a Variance from the applicable requirements to a maximum of 10%. The minimum Lot Frontage requirement in the Residential 1 (R1) Zone for a Single Detached Dwelling is 15m. To accommodate the proposed development, a variance of 5% is required, which will result in a Lot Frontage of 14.2m.
