Starting 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, residents of St. John's can book a free curbside collection appointment for oversized waste.

To book an appointment use one of the following options:

• Go to CurbitStJohns.ca/Schedules and choose the oversized tab
• Use the ‘Curbit St. John’s’ app and choose the oversized tab
• Call Access St. John’s at 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489)

Appointments will be scheduled based on your regular waste collection day:

Once booked, please set a reminder on your calendar and place the items at the curb by 8 a.m. on your assigned collection date, and not before 3 p.m. the day before.

Before making an appointment, please be sure what you have is oversized waste:

• Maximum size of 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 2.15 m (5 ft x 5 ft x 7 ft)
• Weighs less than 68 kgs (150 lbs)
• Does not fit inside a garbage bag
