Empire Avenue (Carpasian Road to Signal Hill Road)

February 12 to 23 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents are advised that BioMaxx Environmental, on behalf of the City of St. John's, will be completing sewer inspections along Empire Avenue (Carpasian Road to Signal Hill Road).

To facilitate the inspections, a sewer bypass piping system will be set up along the street to divert sewer flows around the sewer section being inspected. Access to driveways may be restricted. Vehicles will not be permitted to drive over the bypass pipe due to the possibility of damaging the pipe and your vehicle; except for locations where the contractor has installed appropriate ramps over the pipe. Sewer service interruptions are not anticipated.

Motorists will experience traffic delays, however, vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be maintained. Signage will be in place and flag persons will be on site.
