The City of St. John’s wishes to advise residents that Bannerman Park, including the playground and splash pad, and St. Pat's Ballfield will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. to facilitate Japanese Beetle Treatment. The Bannerman Pool House will remain open throughout the day.

These treatments are part of the province’s ongoing eradication program to help prevent the spread of this invasive pest.
