Facility Closures: March 24, 2026
Please be advised that all City facilities, including City Hall, recreation facilities and the Residential Drop-Off at Robin Hood Bay will be closed tomorrow morning (Tuesday, March 24) due to forecasted weather. An update will be provided at 10 a.m. The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will remain open to commercial users only.
Residents are also reminded of the following announcements made earlier today:
- Weather-Related Parking Ban: To support crews in responding efficiently and carrying out snow clearing and clean-up operations, on-street parking will be banned on all streets outside the downtown area, effective Tuesday, March 24 at 7:30 a.m. Vehicles parked on the street may be ticketed or towed. An update will be issued when the parking ban is lifted.
- Waste Collection: Curbside waste collection is cancelled on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. A further update on the revised collection schedule will be provided Tuesday.

Reports of hazards should be reported immediately. We ask that residents wait until after the service delivery timelines to submit general inquiries regarding snow clearing to allow staff to focus on cleanup efforts. Often times, issues are resolved within that timeline.
