  • Building Energy Modelling Essentials: St. John’s City Hall, October 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Working with the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB): Microsoft Teams, October 30 & 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Building Science for Builders (NBC Part 9.36): Microsoft Teams, November 20 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Why This Training Matters

The City of St. John’s is supporting this training as part of its commitment to building energy-efficient, sustainable and affordable homes. The City is considering using the energy efficiency tiers in the National Building Code (NBC Part 9.36) and adopting the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB). This training will help prepare you for these upcoming changes and support your work in building code compliance and energy efficiency.
