The St. John’s Local Immigration Partnership is hosting the third annual My New St. John’s Expo Event for newcomers & friends. The Expo takes place Thursday, October 19 from noon to 6 p.m. at the St. John’s Community Market, 245 Freshwater Road. Event admission is free.

If you are new to St. John’s, the Expo is your opportunity to:

• discover what St. John’s has to offer

• connect with 40 community organizations staffed by a diverse group of community leaders

• learn about programs and services designed to help you settle in our municipality

• meet new people in your community

Free Metrobus shuttle service will be offered between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on a load and go basis between Memorial University, the College of the North Atlantic Prince Philip Drive campus and the St. John’s Community Market.
