Notice of Registration - Daycare Regulations
Take notice that St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 26, 2024, adopted on February 20, 2024, has been registered by the Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs.
In general terms, the purpose of St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 26, 2024, is to bring daycare regulations more in line with the requirements and terminology used by the Province, allow Family Child Care Service as a Permitted Use within various residential zones, allow Child Care Centre as a Permitted Use in various commercial and institutional zones and remove Daycare Centre from the Rural Residential (RR) Zone and the Rural Village (RV) Zone.
