Due to the Remembrance Day holiday on Friday, Nov. 11, all City offices and facilities will be closed.

Please note:

• Waste and recycling will not be collected on Remembrance Day. On Saturday, Nov. 12, collection will occur in Area 5.
• All City parking by-laws are still in effect, however paid parking will not be enforced as Friday is a Shops Closing Holiday.
• Public washrooms will be open at Bannerman Park, Bowring Park and Quidi Vidi Lake.

Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

The Royal Canadian Legion Newfoundland and Labrador Remembrance Day parade and ceremony will take place on Friday, Nov. 11 beginning at the Sergeants’ Memorial, Queen’s Road at 10:10 a.m. The parade will arrive at the National War Memorial at approximately 10:45 a.m., with the ceremony beginning at 10:55 a.m.
