Looking to try something new this fall? We have space in our adult recreation courses that offer a fun and welcoming way to learn new skills, explore your interests and meet others in your community. Whether you're trying line dancing for the first time, exploring your creative side through drawing or painting, building on your keyboarding skills or improving balance and mobility through Together In Movement and Exercise - there's something for everyone.

Keyboarding (Intermediate)

Learn how to play piano and read music in a fun, supportive class. Intermediate is suitable for those with some experience who want to build on what they know. For ages 18+.

Oil Painting (Iris Plant)

Join us for a creative adult oil painting class where you’ll learn essential techniques, explore colour and texture, and develop your own artistic style. No experience necessary, materials included. For ages 18+.

Acrylic Painting

Embrace your inner artist at our fall paint nights! Join us for a fun, guided session where you’ll create a beautiful piece on canvas with acrylic paint. Perfect for socializing and getting creative! For ages 18+, no experience required. All materials included.

Learn simple steps and easy dances in a fun, relaxed setting. No experience needed—just bring your energy and get moving. Come dance, laugh, and build confidence on the dance floor. For ages 18+.

Natural Progression Line Dance

This program takes you from absolute beginner to confident dancer, building your skills step by step. Each week introduces new moves, rhythms, and routines while reinforcing the fundamentals. By the end of the season, you’ll be ready to confidently join in on the dance floor, from beginner favourites to popular intermediate routines.

Paul Reynolods Community Centre: Wednesdays, September 16 to December 2 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

TIME – Together in Movement and Exercise

Together In Movement and Exercise is a community-based program for people with a range of conditions affecting balance and mobility. Referral from a health care professional is required. For ages 18+.

Paul Reynolds Community Centre: Tuesdays and Thursdays. September 22 to December 1 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
