Rug Hooking- Design and Hook Your Own Pattern
Beginner/Advanced Rug Hooking Workshop
Design a pattern for a hooked mat, incorporating the rule of thirds and perspective. Repurpose previously loved clothing, such as wool fabric, t-shirts and velour by finding, processing and cutting them into suitable pieces. Create depth and definition in the mat by pulling loops and using varying heights, directions, colors, techniques and appliqué. Materials provided: linen foundation fabric 20” square with a variety of fabrics for hooking and finishing.
