Space in Recreation Programs
Come join us to have fun and stay active in the following programs: Open Gym drop-in, Walk and Wheel drop-in, Kilbride Family Fun Day, crafting classes, painting classes and chess. There's something for everyone!
Open Gym Drop-In
Adults 18 years of age or older, come play court sports with your friends. $2 drop-in fee, no registration necessary. Please bring indoor footwear.
- Kenmount Terrace Community Centre: Mondays, Sept. 9 to Dec. 9 from 7:30 to10 p.m.
- Southlands Community Centre: Wednesdays, Sept. 11 to Dec. 11 from 8 to 10 p.m.
Walk and Wheel Drop-In
Finding it difficult to walk outside this time of year? Come and enjoy indoor walking in our facility. Please bring indoor footwear and a water bottle. Program is free, no registration necessary.

Chess
Learn the basics of chess in this beginner class instructed by an experienced instructor. Cost: $99
- H.G.R. Mews Community Centre: Tuesdays, Sept. 10 to Nov. 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Kilbride Fall Family Fun Day
Drop by for some fall family fun including active games and toys, a Halloween craft, light refreshments and more. This is an all ages, free event; no registration necessary.
- Kilbride Community Centre: Saturday, Oct. 26 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Come Craft with Us
Have fun while learning basic crafting skills. A variety of different craft mediums will be used and participants will take home four beautiful crafts. You do not have to be crafty to join! Cost: $60
- Southlands Community Centre: Wednesdays, Nov. 13 to Dec. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Acrylic Painting – Winter Scene
- Shea Heights Community Centre: Sunday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Family Paint Night
Come join us for a fun and creative family night out. Materials are provided, no experience necessary. Class is open to adults and youth ages 10 and over. Cost: $19.50

Plan a night out and meet some neighbours, while exploring your creativity! Materials provided, no experience necessary. For ages 18 and over. Cost: $19.50
