The City has space in Recreation programs for individuals of all ages and abilities: Rug Hooking, Youth Nights, Painting, Drawing, Lifelong Learners and an open house at Kilbride Community Centre.

Rug Hooking - Message on a Pillow

Participants will learn how to hook the letters, how to hook the background and finish a pillow. Learn tools of the trade and how to work with narrow and wide cuts of wool fabrics.

Kilbride Youth Night: Game Night!

Life Long Learners - Virtue, Justice and Human Flourishing

Read and discuss Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics. This work was written over 2300 years ago in Ancient Greece, but still holds valuable lessons for how to live a good life. Topics include happiness, virtue, justice, wisdom and pleasure. No experience with philosophy is required - just a willingness to read the text and discuss issues in a respectful and open-minded way. No program on May 7.
