Street Rehab - July 21 to 26

7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Contractors may be working on the following streets from July 21 to 26 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

Barnes Road (Mullock Street to Howley Avenue)

Bennett Avenue

Canada Drive (Hamlyn Road to Cowan Avenue)

Cavendish Square

Charlton Street

Clifford Street

Flower Hill

Freshwater Road (Kenmount Road to Crosbie Road)

Ordnance Street

Reeves Place

Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:

Anspach Street

Austin Steet

Bay Bulls Road

Blackmarsh Road

Burgeo Street

Columbus Drive

Cowan Avenue

Crosbie Road

Elizabeth Avenue

Forbes Street

Great Eastern Avenue

Hamlyn Road

Kelsey Drive

Kenmount Road

Ladysmith Drive

New Cove Road

Newfoundland Drive

O’Leary Avenue

Old Pennywell Road

Peet Street

Pippy Place

Road De Luxe

Shaw Street

Pedestrian access will be maintained and/or alternate routes provided.

Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
