Street Rehab - July 6-11, 2026
Contractors may be working on the following streets from July 6 to 11 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:
- Back Line
- Banting Place
- Blackmarsh Road
- Columbus Drive
- Conroy Place
- Ellis Place
- Ennis Avenue
- Freshwater Road
- Johnson Crescent
- King’s Bridge Road
- Morison Place
- Winter Avenue
Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:
- Allandale Road
- Bonaventure Avenue
- Elizabeth Avenue
- Ennis Avenue
- Harvey Road
- Lemarchant Road
- Mayor Avenue
- Merrymeeting Road
- Military Road
- Monkstown Road
- Newtown Road
- Pennywell Road
- Pine Bud Avenue
- Portugal Cove Road
- Prescott Street
- Prince Philip Drive
- Queen’s Road
- Strawberry Marsh Road
- Torbay Road
Pedestrian access will be maintained and/or alternate routes provided.
Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
