Street Rehab - June 8-13, 2026
Dates: June 8 to 13, 2026
Times: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
Contractors may be working on the following streets from June 8 to 13 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:
- Beaumont Street
- Bennett Avenue
- Colonial Street
- Columbus Drive
- Dick’s Square
- Freshwater Road
- Johnson Crescent
- King’s Bridge Road
- Larkhall Street
- Newfoundland Drive
Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:
- Barter’s Hill
- Circular Road
- Duckworth Street
- Elizabeth Avenue
- Ennis Avenue
- Gleneyre Street
- Harbour Drive
- Harvey Road
- King’s Bridge Road
- MacDonald Drive
- Major’s Path
- Military Road
- Monkstown Road
- New Gower Street
- Newfoundland Drive
- Plymouth Road
- Queen’s Road
- Stavanger Drive
- Torbay Road
- Water Street
Pedestrian access will be maintained and/or alternate routes provided.
Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
