Street Rehab - June 9 to 14

7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Contractors may be working on the following streets from June 9 to 14 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. Work could include concrete/street excavation, concrete work, paving, heater scarifying, utility adjustment, ditch cleaning and culvert installation. Commuters may experience traffic delays in these areas:

Barnes Road (Mullock Street to Howley Avenue)

Cavendish Square

Elizabeth Avenue

Freshwater Road (Kenmount Road to Crosbie Road)

Greenbelt Parking Lot

Kensington Drive

Ordnance Street

Commuters may also experience traffic delays and should be wary of milled asphalt areas due to grind and patch operations on the following streets:

Allandale Road

Adams Avenue

Anderson Avenue

Barter’s Hill

Cookstown Road

Duckworth Street

Freshwater Road

Harbour Drive

Harvey Road

Lemarchant Road

Merrymeeting Road

Military Road

New Gower Street

Pennywell Road

Prescott Street

Prince Philip Drive

Torbay Road

University Avenue

Water Street

Westerland Road

Pedestrian access will be maintained and/or alternate routes provided.

Other local/residential streets may have ongoing construction and affected homeowners and businesses have been notified separately.
