The City is considering a text amendment to the Envision St. John’s Development Regulations to update public consultation requirements and meet new requirements of the Urban and Rural Planning Act. A Municipal Plan amendment is not required. The City is considering removing the requirement to advertise in a newspaper and adding requirements for on-site notices for the following planning applications:

• Municipal Plan map amendments;

• Development Regulations map amendments; and
• Development Regulations text amendments that have a Land Use Report (LUR).
