Traffic Advisory - Battle of Britain Parade

To facilitate the Battle of Britain Parade and Wreath Laying Ceremony, please note the following road closures and parking restrictions on Sunday, September 21 from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Road Closures

The following roads will be closed during the times noted below on Sunday, September 21.

10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

  • Harvey Road (next to the C.L.B. Armory) – rolling closure
  • Long’s Hill – rolling closure
  • Queen’s Road (Long’s Hill to Cathedral Street) – rolling closure

10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

  • Gower Street (Cathedral Street to Church Hill)

12 p.m. to 12:20 p.m.

  • Church Hill – rolling closure

12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

  • Duckworth Street (Church Hill to Cochrane Street) – rolling closure
  • Cochrane Street – rolling closure

12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

  • Water Street (Cochrane Street to Prescott Street)

1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

  • Water Street (Cochrane Street to Prescott Street)

1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

  • Ayre’s Cove

No Parking (Tow Away) Zone

Please note that vehicles parked at the location below from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21 will be ticketed and/or towed:

  • Water Street (Job’s Cove to Cochrane Street)

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is available on Duckworth Street in front of the Sir Humphrey Gilbert building. This will be available on a first come first serve basis. To learn more about other accessible parking spaces, refer to our accessible parking map.
