Traffic Advisory: Cochrane Pond Bridge Removal and Route 3 Closure
The Provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure wishes to advise that Route 3, also known as Robert E. Howlett Memorial Drive, between Ruby Line and Doyle’s Road will be closed on Saturday, May 24, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to facilitate the removal of Cochrane Pond Bridge for repairs to the structure.
A detour around the closed portion will use Ruby Line, Back Line and Doyle’s Road. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and pay attention to traffic control.
An additional temporary closure of Route 3 will be necessary in the coming weeks to reinstall the bridge once the repairs have been completed.
