To facilitate rehabilitation of the Freshwater Road/Empire Avenue intersection, the following traffic impacts will be in effect from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30:

• Freshwater Road: Alternating traffic – one lane open at a time.
• Empire Avenue southbound: Near Pizza Empire, traffic will be detoured via Graves Street, Hoyles Avenue, Guy Street and Anderson Avenue.
• Empire Avenue northbound: Near Wishingwell Park, traffic will be detoured via Cashin Avenue, Pennywell Road and Adams Avenue. Access will be maintained for residents.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes and avoid the area if possible. Please follow all posted signage, barricades, and directions from on-site personnel. Alternative pedestrian routes will be provided.
