Traffic and Parking Impacts - King George V Soccer Event on July 14

On Sunday, July 14, the first match of the International Summer Series between the Halifax Wanderers and the Ipswich Town FC will take place at the King George V Park. To facilitate this event, there will be parking restrictions and road closures in effect.

Road Closures

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Carnell Drive (From Lake Ave to the Boulevard)

No Parking/Designated Tow Away Zones

Accessible Parking

Parking for persons with an provincially issued accessible permit will be available at the Dominion Parking Lot on a first come first served basis.

Parking

Parking is limited, and alternative forms of transportation are encouraged. Motorists are reminded to abide by all posted parking signage, which will be enforced. There are City parking lots nearby the event, including the lower Dominion lot, and gravel lots near the pump track and dog park.
