The City of St. John’s wishes to advise residents that work to connect the Grand Concourse Virginia Trail from Durness Street to McNiven Street will begin the week of August 24.

Residents may notice some trail work activity during this time; however, the impact to nearby residents is expected to be minimal.

Work will take approximately three weeks to complete. Upon completion, the new connection will be an approximately 2-metre-wide gravel trail.

The City of St. John’s thanks residents for their patience and cooperation as this important trail connection is completed.
