Underground infrastructure installation will be completed at the Waldegrave and Water Street intersection in the coming days, and underground work at Prescott Street and Job’s Cove is starting on Mon. May 8.

A road closure at the Prescott Street and Duckworth Street intersection is required to facilitate this phase of work. Signage and flag persons will be in place.

The city apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this construction project, which is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2023.

Waldegrave Street intersection

Waldegrave Street will reopen to traffic on Mon. May 8, with some surface work ongoing, and minor delays expected. The intersection surface will be gravel until the asphalt plants are opened towards the end of May.

Temporary Metrobus stops and routes remain in place and will be updated on the Metrobus website when they return to normal.
