As part of the Street Rehabilitation program, construction work for Southlands Boulevard is concluding in late fall 2022.

The construction update:

• Construction on Southlands Boulevard between the City limits and Ruby Line is currently ongoing and expected to be completed by November 4.

• After November 4, crews will be completing minor asphalt, concrete and reinstatement work as well as line painting. This work is anticipated to be completed in late fall and may include sporadic lane reductions.

The final layer of asphalt will be placed during the 2023 construction season. This will require more detours in 2023, but these detours will be shorter in duration and communicated as needed.
