The City has made the decision to demolish the former H.G.R. Mews Community Centre building due to its condition. At this time, the City plans to retain ownership of the property and will develop a future plan for the site. Once that plan is finalized, it will be shared with the public.

The City is currently in the final stages of selecting a contractor to complete the demolition. Once a contractor has been awarded the project additional information will be shared, including the construction schedule, anticipated timeline, and any impacts to the surrounding area. Demolition is expected to begin this fall.
