The City of St. John’s in partnership with the Community Sector Council NL is hosting a Volunteer and Community Fair Event to help connect residents with volunteer opportunities. Volunteers help make our city a better place to live, work and play and are an integral part of our programs and services.

The fair will take place Tuesday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. John’s Community Market, 245 Freshwater Road. Event admission is free. Over 40 community organizations who offer volunteer placements will be in attendance.

The City has a strategic direction to be a Connected City where people feel connected, have a sense of belonging and are actively engaged in community life. The goal of the event is to connect individuals of all ages with organizations in the community to fulfill volunteer opportunities.
