
The City is proud to celebrate National Youth Week from May 1 to 7 - an opportunity to recognize the creativity, achievements and contributions of young people in our community. Join us for a week of free activities designed to celebrate youth and bring the community together.
Mayor Danny Breen will officially proclaim National Youth Week in the City of St. John’s on Tuesday, April 28 at the regular City Council Meeting at 3 p.m.
Celebrate young artists at the annual Youth Art Exhibit. An opening reception will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at 7 p.m. at the Wyatt Hall, City Hall. There will be light refreshments and youth entertainment. All are welcome to attend. The exhibit will be open to the public on weekdays from May 1 to 15, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Junior and senior high-aged youth are invited to a free carnival at the Paul Reynolds Community Centre, 35 Carrick Drive, on Thursday, May 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Enjoy giant-sized games, prizes and more in a fun, welcoming environment.
