Job Advisory: St. John's Regional Fire Department September 2026

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) anticipates posting a job competition in early September 2026. Applications will be accepted through the City of St. John’s Careers website. Recruitment advisories will also be published on the City of St. John’s website, the City of Mount Pearl website, and the Town of Paradise website.

Prospective candidates are strongly encouraged to review the 2026–2027 SJRFD Firefighter Recruitment Guide, which outlines the required qualifications and details of the hiring process. Particular attention should be paid to the changes made to the minimum qualifications.
