The City of St. John’s is seeking a Chair for the Audit Standing Committee. We require an individual in the private sector who holds a professional accounting designation with preference given to those who have the following knowledge and experience:

• Financial
• Audit and investigative
• General business and public sector
• Functional knowledge in the following areas:
  • Enterprise risk management
  • Performance management
  • Human resources management
  • Management control frameworks
  • Financial internal controls
  • Governance (including planning, reporting, and oversight)
  • Business operations

Committee member roles, responsibilities, and length of term are set according to the Committee’s Terms of Reference.
