Overnight Parking Bans Scheduled Due to Expected Weather Conditions

Due to expected adverse weather conditions, the City is putting the following overnight parking bans in place to support snow clearing and winter maintenance operations. On-street overnight parking bans will be in effect December 26, 27 and 28 during the following times:

  • Downtown Business District: 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Water Street (Waldegrave Street to Prescott Street) and Duckworth Street (New Gower Street to Cochrane Street)
  • All other streets outside the downtown area: 12:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Tickets may be issued to vehicles parked on the street during the above-noted times, and any vehicle impeding snow removal may be impounded at the owner’s expense.

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead when visiting family and friends over the holiday season and to check for updates, as parking restrictions may change.
