Due to the forecasted high temperatures and humidex this week, the annual Party in the Park will be cancelled for Wednesday, July 16 and will now be held indoors on Thursday, July 17 at the Mazol Shriners at 530 Topsail Road from 1 to 4 p.m.

Music @ Harbourside Park concert at 12:30 p.m. featuring Coaker’s Hat and the Downtown Pedestrian Mall pop-up event at 2 p.m. featuring Trinity Sound are cancelled for Friday, Juoy 4 due to wet conditions and forecasted weather.

he City of St. John’s is hosting its annual Party in the Park on Wednesday, July 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the lawn by the Bowring Park Bungalow. Party in the Park is a free event for seniors which includes local entertainment along with light refreshments, giveaways and more.

Annually the City of St. John's hosts Canada Day celebrations on July 1. All Canada Day events are accessible, and all activities are free of charge.

The Downtown Pedestrian Mall will return on June 26 and run until September 1, 2025. Operating daily from noon until 10 p.m., Water Street from Adelaide Street to Prescott Street will once again transform into a bustling people-friendly zone.
