he City of St. John’s is hosting its annual Party in the Park on Wednesday, July 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the lawn by the Bowring Park Bungalow. Party in the Park is a free event for seniors which includes local entertainment along with light refreshments, giveaways and more.

Annually the City of St. John's hosts Canada Day celebrations on July 1. All Canada Day events are accessible, and all activities are free of charge.

Today, the City announced the line-up for the 2025 Music @ Concert series.

The Downtown Pedestrian Mall will return on June 26 and run until September 1, 2025. Operating daily from noon until 10 p.m., Water Street from Adelaide Street to Prescott Street will once again transform into a bustling people-friendly zone.

The City of St. John’s is pleased to announce that a new edible orchard will soon take root at the new H.G.R. Mews Community Centre, thanks to funding support from Tree Canada.

The City of St. John’s and the Youth Engagement Working Group is hosting Learn it, Live it: Everyday Sustainability, a free public event for 18 to 30-year-olds focused on practical, everyday actions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
