Underground Construction Starts on Prescott Street
Underground infrastructure installation will be completed at the Waldegrave and Water Street intersection in the coming days, and underground work at Prescott Street and Job’s Cove is starting on Mon. May 8.
Construction Planned for Waterford River Bridge at Blackhead RoadRepairs are planned to rehabilitate the Waterford River Bridge at Blackhead Road, with construction scheduled to begin on Mon. May 8 and be completed by the end of August.
Springdale Street ClosureMotorists are advised that Springdale Street, between Water Street and George Street West, will be closed from Mar 20 to April 28 from 7:00 a.m.
Water Street Construction Update April 28The final phase of the Water Street infrastructure improvement project that began on March 27 is progressing on schedule, with the underground infrastructure installation nearing completion at the Waldegrave Street intersection, and underground work scheduled to begin next week at the intersection of Prescott Street and Job’s Cove.

Sanitary Sewer Construction Project Continues on Bay Bulls RoadA construction project to install sewer infrastructure on Bay Bulls Road, between Old Bay Bulls Road and Walsh’s Lane, will impact traffic and pedestrians from April 17 until August 2023.
A detour will direct traffic along Old Bay Bulls Road and Walsh’s Lane, with local traffic only permitted in the work site on Bay Bulls Road.
