New accessible washrooms are coming to Kelly’s Brook Park!

To facilitate construction, the Shared-Use Path in Kelly’s Brook Park near Hoyles Avenue (including the trail connection to Hoyles Avenue) will be closed starting Monday, November 3. The closure is expected to conclude in approximately two weeks.

There will be a temporary lane reduction for the west bound lane of Brookfield Road near Civic 217 and the Pearltown Road intersection from 7 a.m. Monday, November 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, November 7.

Due to inclement weather, the Pumpkin Walk event, originally scheduled for Saturday, November 1, will be postponed to Sunday, November 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

To facilitate exploratory work for the Prescott Street Infrastructure Project, periodic lane reductions will be in place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday, November 4 to Thursday, November 6.

On Sunday, November 2, 2025, Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 a.m., so get ready to put your clocks back.

To facilitate filming of the TV series Saint-Pierre, Beaumount Hamel Way and Danny Drive in the Galway area will be closed from 6:30 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, November 2. 

The City of St. John’s is still experiencing low water levels.

Cancellation: Please be advised that the playgroup program scheduled for October 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Kenmount Terrace Community Centre is cancelled.

The City is considering a map amendment to Appendix C, Map 4 Waterways and Wetlands, to reflect changes to the status of a wetland at 853 Main Road.
