The following is a recap of the City of St. John's Regular Council Meeting on October 21, 2025, which provides an overview of Council decisions.
Contractors may be working on numerous streets from October 27 to November 1 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs.
Starting Monday, October 27, lane reductions will be in effect daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Airport Heights Drive and Rhodora Street to facilitate construction work.
Motorists are advised there will be a temporary lane reduction for Waterford Bridge Road below the Columbus Drive Overpass from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, October 24.
There will be a temporary lane reduction for Blackhead Road between the Warford Road and Jordan Place intersections from 7 a.m. Thursday, October 23 to 6 p.m. Friday, November 7.
A Discretionary Use application has been submitted by Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial Services Inc. for 204-206 Main Road.
A Discretionary Use application has been submitted for the area of 145 Southern Shore Highway.
There will be a temporary lane reduction for the west bound lane of Brookfield Road near Civic 217 and the Pearltown Road intersection from 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 15 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 22.
Join us for the annual City of St. John's Pumpkin Walk at Bannerman Park on November 1 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
A Discretionary Use application has been submitted for 285 Southern Shore Highway.
