The City of St. John’s is alerting residents of a phishing scam currently circulating that involves fraudulent fines for city parking tickets.

The Office of the City Clerk is to fill vacancies on the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee.

On Monday, October 20, construction will begin on the east side of the Airport Heights to Paul Reynolds Community Centre Shared-Use Path.

Contractors may be working on numerous streets from October 20 to 25 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs. 

To facilitate the 133rd CLB Anniversary Parade, there will be rolling/temporary road closures on Sunday, October 19 from 2 to 5:30 p.m.

The Bowring Park east gate parking lot, near the duck pond, will be closed on Monday, October 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow for repair work.

Take notice that St. John’s Development Regulations Amendment Number 64, 2025, adopted on August 26, 2025, has been registered by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Community Engagement.

There will be a temporary lane reduction for the west bound lane of Brookfield Road near Civic 217 and the Pearltown Road intersection from 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 15 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 21.

There wll be a number of temporary lane reductions/road closures in effect for the Cape to Cabot Race, Sunday, October 19, 2025.
