Contractors may be working on multiple streets from September 15 to 20 under the City’s annual streets rehabilitation and infrastructure maintenance programs.

Starting Monday, September 15, rates for using City of St. John’s Level 2 EV Charging Stations will be adjusted.

Gower Street (from Cathedral Street to Church Hill) will be closed to facilitate the area churches block party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 14. 

Motorists are advised of road closures on September 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to facilitate the Terry Fox Run.

Construction of a new 2.6 km shared-use path connecting Airport Heights to the Paul Reynolds Community Centre will begin on Monday, September 15, 2025. The project is scheduled to conclude in fall 2026.

There will be a lane reduction for the west bound curb lane of the Columbus Drive Waterford Bridge Road Overpass from 7 a.m. Wednesday, September 10 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 10.

The Aurora with 1950 passengers is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 8 and depart at 6 p.m.
