The City of St. John’s has been awarded $249,997 through the Public Health Agency of Canada’s 2025 Intersectoral Action Fund (ISAF) to advance its project, Healthy City for All: A Lens for Equity-Based Municipal Decision-Making to Improve Health Outcomes.

The City of St. John’s advises that some vote-by-mail kits for residents in Goulds have been returned to City Hall by Canada Post.

Bidgood Park Dog Park will be closed for maintenance from Monday, Sept. 22 to Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

The Europa is scheduled to arrive in the Port of St. John’s at 8 a.m. on Monday, September 22, and depart at 5 p.m. The Allura is scheduled to arrive at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24 and depart at 7 p.m.

Motorists are advised that due to watermain repairs Empire Avenue (Jensen Camp Road to Welland Street) is closed today, Saturday, September 20 until 10 p.m.
