The Royal St. John’s Regatta is set to occur on Wednesday, August 5. If the weather is not suitable on August 5 and the Regatta Committee postpones the event, the following list pertains to whichever day the Royal St. John’s Regatta occurs.

The St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) anticipates posting a job competition in early September 2026. Applications will be accepted through the City of St. John’s Careers website. Recruitment advisories will also be published on the City of St. John’s website, the City of Mount Pearl website, and the Town of Paradise website.

Due to current and forecasted wet weather, the Music @ Concert scheduled for today, Friday, July 31, 2026, has been cancelled.

The City has made the decision to demolish the former H.G.R. Mews Community Centre building due to its condition.
